MEET THE EXPERT

Judy L Banks, MD FACOG

Dr. Judy Banks is currently the Associate Residency Program Director for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, New Jersey. Dr Banks is privileged to be tasked with helping prepare the next generation of Women’s Reproductive Health Specialist. Dr. Banks a Board Certified Obstetrician is a graduate of The College of St Elizabeth, and Meharry Medical School. She completed her specialty training at New Jersey College of Medicine &Dentistry. Dr Banks prior to becoming Associate Residency Director spent the majority of her career in solo OB/GYN practice. Dr. Banks has been the recipient of numerous community service, professional, and teaching awards. In 2014 she was presented with a “National Faculty Award” from the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Dr. Banks is passionate about women’s healthcare and the issues affecting availability both nationally and internationally. She is pleased that her current position allows her to include her work on international projects. She and several of her OB/GYN residents have participated in clinical projects in Cap Haitian, Haiti as part of a Global Health Elective. Dr. Banks reflects on her amazing life in gratitude and looks forward in anticipation of the accomplishments of the next generation of women’s health specialist.
